WWE’s Theme Park Plans Offer A Jubilant Look Into A Volatile Future
On a recent episode of his Wooooo! Nation podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recalled a conversation he had with Vince McMahon, where the WWE Chairman noted that his only competition was Disney.
And while that’s quite the ambitious rival for a promotion battling serious concerns in viewership and demographics, WWE seems poised to take a step forward in possibly competing with Disney’s greatest attraction. But with tumultuous viewership numbers that fall every year, and a fledgling over-the-top network that is soldiering on at a satisfactory pace, a WWE-themed amusement park just might be too ambitious.
Forrec, an international design company, has released concept art behind a potential WWE theme park attraction. WWE could potentially license attractions to other theme parks or create one of its own in a move that may finally lead to the construction of the long-awaited physical WWE Hall of Fame.
