Consider it official: San Angelo will be getting a trampoline park this year, according to a sign placed beside the Loop 306 Frontage Road, in the lot behind Lowe’s on Sherwood Way.
Buddy Caubble, president of Ultimate Air, confirmed the sign is true, saying the company is “well on our way to making this reality.”
Caubble said construction generally takes five to nine months, depending on the weather and how quickly the permitting process goes.
This will be Ultimate Air’s fifth location. Others are in Missouri, Arkansas and Hawaii, and one in Oklahoma is set to open in March.
A local engineering firm has been working with the company for the new park, he said.
Fifty to 60 employees will be hired for the San Angelo location, Caubble said, adding, “It is a great place for people to have their first job.”
Employees must be at least 16, and applications will be posted in late summer, he said.
