Ryan’s Granted Approval to Open Amusement Center in Plymouth
Bourne, MA (May 17, 2018) – Ryan’s will be bringing its 60-year tradition of delivering family fun to downtown Plymouth, Massachusetts later this summer. At a hearing held at Town Hall last night, the Plymouth Board of Selectmen granted Ryan’s approval to convert the location at 136 Water Street into a Ryan’s Family Entertainment Center.
The new center will feature 35 of the most popular arcade, video and skills games, as well as a prize counter. The game options will range from nostalgic favorites like Pac-Man to recent releases like Ice’s “Bag Toss”, providing entertainment for kids and parents, alike. The center will be open from 9 AM – Midnightdaily.
“Plymouth has been a very desirable location for us for a while now,” said Michael Crowley, Ryan’s General Manager. “The waterfront and downtown area have become increasingly vibrant with the addition of new restaurants, retail and attractions. The town has done a tremendous job of maintaining Plymouth’s rich history while adding the amenities that visitors expect. We’re thrilled to be a part of the community.”
Ryan’s will be opening in the home of the former Al’s Restaurant, which closed in March. The 2700 square- foot space will be retrofitted over the next couple of months, with a grand opening expected this July.
This becomes the 10th location for Ryan’s, which operates bowling alleys and games rooms across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, along with a new 25,000 square foot entertainment complex at Cape Cod Mall called Ten Pin Eatery. The other locations include bowling centers in Buzzard’s Bay, Falmouth, Millis, Raynham and South Yarmouth. Game rooms, similar to what will open in Plymouth, are located in Newport, RI and Oak Bluffs, Ma. For more information, visit www.ryanfamily.com.
